Thiefs at Century Ballys Health Club
My cell phone was stolen at Bally's Health Club at Century Mall. The staff is unhelpful and unconcerned. There are a lot of lowlifes that attend that health club. Please don't be mistaken that it is an issue of race because the club is majority white. It is an issue of morals. Watch your belongings. Do not turn your back for a moment!

Im at the ballys in rogers park and I have a great contract
Im at the ballys in rogers park and I have a great contract with them 18.00 to work out for 3 days out the week. However, the ballys workers due put pressure on you to get a personal trainer and its alot of money to pay that every mnth or week depends on a person's finances but this location is huge, plenty of equipmnt but yes very pack. Thats why i like to get to the gym as early as possible. But overall Ballys is great to do your work outs.

THE CHICAGO HEALTH CLUB THAT LEAVES YOU STRANDED
My daughter belongs to this gym. This evening someone broke into her locker and stole EVERYTHING--her coat, cell phone, socks. keys, duffel bag-and the club did nothing to help her. They may not be able to stop thieves from joining-but they did nothing to help her when she discovered her empty locker-she had to walk 7 blocks home in a spaghetti strap top, with no socks, in 20 degree weather. She will most probably be sick tomorrow, and will miss a weekend of work. You would think they would care enough to get her something warm to wear, or call a cab, or give her a lift. Their total lack of concern has made me change my mind about joining the club in my area- the one in Tinley Park. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect at least a little kindness by the employees. I'm really upset. I want nothing to do with this company.

IT HAS BEEN A YEAR-THIS CLUB HAS NEVER RESPONDED TO MY COMPLAINT-NOT A GOOD IDEA TO JOIN THIS CLUB IS IT???????

scammed by representative beware contract!
Was scammed!! I came into bally's with a 2week free trial pass. One of the representatives told me to come into the office for info (it's part of the free trial). But he then asked for my name, number, and credit card number! I told him I wasn't interested in signing up until my 2weeks- and he said he wouldn't charge it until I decided. I called my credit card jcompany ust incase because I thought it was fishy and it was charged! I can't believe full grown adults can lie to your face and charge people like that. wow!

Clean and Equipped but Busy by Tarra A. at InsiderPages
I haven't taken any classes so far, but the available classes are of a wide variety.

There is a swimming pool, sauna and alot of equipment, from cardiovascular to machines and free weights.

Depending when you go will determine the club vibe. The hours are not bad either, unless you're looking for a 24 hour club. I prefer to go in the morning as I'm able to find free parking (before 8am) on the street.

It has always been clean, including shower facilities and all equipment. They have paper towel dispensers and hand sanitizers strategically placed throughout.

The price isn't bad either!

Cons of the gym would include the parking structure being $5 for up to 4 hours. I don't spend that much time in the gym, so I couldn't justify paying that on a daily basis. I'm in and out.
