HORRIBLE
This gym is the worst gym I have EVER been to or can imagine. The staff seems friendly but my concern is the cleanliness. The womens locker room was absolutely disgusting and falling apart. Was afraid to touch anything let alone set my belongings down. The equipment seemed ok, besides the time limit (10 minutes) on some of the machines, annoying. The smell of the pool is revolting. Not to mention you feel like your on display the entire time you are there, I want to work out not get hit on, by trainers as well. Be afraid. You get what you pay for. JUST SAY NO.‎

cheap and busy
pros: cheap, nice location cons: haven't seen cleaning staff yet, ALWAYS busy, security guard in men's locker rooms due to breakins and fights (not my words). switched to try it out because it was so cheap. bottom line, you get what you pay for and i'm switching to FFC.‎

Bally's Rogers Park
It meets my needs but I do have issues. The women's locker room is filthy. I won't shower there. Half the times the toilets aren't flushed, but I don't necessarily blame the staff for that. Lots of the women that work out there are total pigs. Several pieces of cardio equipment are always broken and it takes them forever to fix. The staff is nice, but a little unprofessional in that I never get a return phone call when I leave a message. I had an issue with a trainer that spent a lot of time socializing on my dime and totally blew me off one night. Had to switch to a different trainer. It's a good place to start, but don't commit to more than a year. I'm planning on moving on. The lied when I signed the contract. Now I'm having a really hard time cancelling my membership. I would recommend somewhere else.‎

decent location
a somewhat small, cramped gym. given that it's in the loop, it's no surprise that it's PACKED immediately around business start and close hours, and a ghost-town at night. but it's decent, and the staff is more friendly than most other bally's I've been to. it's also a newly-renovated location, so it's not nasty or leaking like others in the area.‎
