Bad cancellation policy
This Inn has a 7 day cancellation policy! Due to family illness I had to cancel and called as soon as I found out, which was four days before check in date. The manager was very unforgiving and even spoke with a hostile tone when describing their policies. While I understand the business point of view of keeping their rooms booked, seven days seems an excessive amount of time, beware, they may not be able to book rooms very easily. When it was obvious she was not going to forgive any of my deposit of $109, I explained I would like the room made available to someone of my choosing who may need a warm bed and breakfast, she then stated that if I did not sign the credit card slip no one of my choosing would be able to use the room. The customer does not come first with this establishment, by implementing a seven day cancellation policy it seems as if they are hoping for added opportunities for increased revenue.
