Dr Thomas is a funny doctor and really is makes your child feel comfortable. He will come in and give ferbers and make jokes with the child. however his staff are a different story.

I went here when I was very sick. I got an appointment the same day I called. When I went in, they gave me medicine, had me lay down and then sent me to get more care in a different part of the facility. I really feel that they went above and beyond even if tecnically they were doing there job. The waiting room is clean, the staff nice. They accept most insurances.

PROS: Friendly staff
CONS: Sometimes long waiting time.

I have been to Bakersfield Family Medical Center several times and have to say I have always been happy with the care I have recieved. It is a great place to go for non emergencys when your doctors office is not open. The staff are very friendly and caring towards your needs.
