Sneaky, immature, no good owner
Some friends of mine had this bakery bake their wedding cake and had absolutely nothing good to say. Actually, the end of the story was even worse. The couple is in the Air Force and had to plan a quick wedding (5 weeks) prior to a move out of the country. Long story short, the bakery got plenty wrong up to time for cake pickup to include calling 3 days before the wedding asking what kind of cake they even wanted after they sat down with an employee weeks before! They handed the cake off to the people picking it up, without a reserved/paid for cake stand and completely and totally uncovered/wrapped! (probably against some type of code, who knows). They complained, got the money back for the cake stand that they didn't get and wrote a bad review on another website. The owner saw the review and had the nerve to call the Air Force Base nearby and "tattle" on the military member who helped the couple pay for the cake to try and get them in trouble. The member who got "tattled on" happens to be the person who books travel for our heroes who are coming home and going to the wars in Iraq/Afghanistan. Some support of the local military shown by the owner of Faker's Sweets. Youre better off driving 45 mins to Columbia for some starbucks. Oh the owner of Faker's ending up bribing the couple with half the price of the cake in exchange for taking the review down! Wow
