After Planet Tan closed down last winter, I went to find a new salon. I only tan in the winter months. Heard commercials on the radio for AT THE BEACH, and went to give it a try. What a racket. You have to sign a contract, and they auto-pay from month to month. I just want the old school pkg. of sessions. They seemed to have never heard of anything like that. Supposedly you can cancel your contract at anytime. READ THEIR REVIEWS They were very pleasant however. Remembered Bahama Sun from eating at Charleston's. Went in to find a great experience. Many different bed types, with many pkgs. to choose from, to fit your personal needs. I met the owner Pam, who was very kind, and made me welcome. I have found a new home. Thanks Pam.‎

The salon was clean and the staff is friendly! If your looking for a great tan this is the place. They have more then just tanning now there is a wonderful workout facility next door and spa services that I didn't know about. But definitely the tanning aspect of the business is great. Also, I tried the airbrush spray tan I was a little skeptical at first (afraid I would turn orange) but not at all! It looked wonderful!

This salon is well kept; they always have the freshest bulbs and clean beds. I was impressed from the friendly service to how clean the place was. If you need any advice on lotions they always seem happy to help you with all your questions. ...
