Amazing
I've been to four different physical therapists in NYC over the past 10 years, and Back in the Game is the best PT practice by far. Monica Joshi is brilliant. After two sessions, the range of motion in my shoulder improved substantially (flexion, for example, increased 45 - 50 degrees). She knows exactly what areas to target to get the quickest and longest lasting results. She has a no-nonsense approach to treatment, but has a great sense of humor and is a pleasure work with. I can't recommend Back in the Game enough!

Great Physical Therapists
I have severe neck pain from arthritis and have tried several other physical therapists, who did nothing to improve my situation. In addition, pain management approaches like epidural steroid injections have not helped.

The therapists at Back in the Game developed a treatment plan for me which combines exercises to increase both strength and flexibility. They have worked with me to learn the proper technique for each exercise, and have done hands-on body work to increase my flexibility. After 8 weeks I have improved posture, more strength and less pain.

They are truly committed professionals, and I often recommend the practice to friends.

Miracle workers
I badly herniated the L5-S1 disc eight years ago. Since then I've had three microdiscectomies and four epidermal injections and have seen a dozen physical therapists. Not until I went to Back in the Game did I obtain real and lasting relief. There's no other way to say it. They're miracle workers!!

Back in the Game got me Back in the Game!
Monica Joshi is the real thing! She is a consummate professional who puts her patients first. I was skeptical that therapy could cure my pain that was a result of herniated disks in my lower back. One highly acclaimed doctor suggested I could not be cured without surgery.

Monica not only helps with the physical aspects, but also provided emotional healing and support and I credit her in great part to my recovery WITHOUT SURGERY!

I would highly recommend her to anyone without hesitation. She is the best in NYC!

Best Physical Therapy Anywhere!!
I suffer from Cervical dystonia; a condition that left me with a neck that would not rotate. I was "stuck" looking to the left with unbareable pain. I have been receiving Botox injections every 3 months in my neck which gave me some relief. My doctor recommended Monica at Back in the Game Therapy to me. I have been seeing Monica for about 3 months now and I have seen wonderful results! The pain is lessened considerably and I can rotate my neck to nearly full range. She has "magic hands" and I am so lucky to be in her care. I travel from Orange County, NY once a week to be treated and I do exercises prescribed by Monica two or three times a day at home. Monica and her staff truely care about my recovery what a unique concept!
