i have been getting my hair done by tamika for a while now and i love it every time from a ponytail ,frenchroll , updo,quickweave ,sew-in and i love the price she gives i can afford to keep my hair looking nice she works with me and i thank her for that so if you go to Babes n Braids ask for tamika very professional and she gives the best wash ever

Cynthia and Crystal are wonderful. They both have lovely personalities and are both very professional. They are the first braiders that I have ever had who also seem to be into serious haircare. Before braiding, they washed my hair and gave me two great conditioning treatments.

I definitely recommend this place. You get what you pay for.

i went to babes n braids for my prom and i wanted to look very elegant with a long falling style. it was already a stressful day and i thought for sure that it would be the same here but i had alot of fun and it was actually the most stressless thing i did all day my stylist was named crystal also she was very nice and funny i love my style and the prices are worth the service.

I have been a customer of this Babes and Braids for at least 7 years. Crystal is awesome! When I was pregnant I got my hair braided. My braids were four months old and I would still get compliments. I never had a braid fall out. Crystal is awesome at weaves, they look very professional very real! I have referred many people to Crystal and they are still satified customers......I don't think that it is about being African, but whether you are skilled and talented to perform the services that are requested to do. Crystal is very skilled, very talented, very kind and an excellent stylist, from color, to perm, to rolls, to weaves to braids. She is one of the best!

This is not an African braiding shop. Prices are high. Staff is not very friendly but they do a pretty good job. Usually 2 people work on you at the same time. The african shops generally are a little cheaper. If you don't like African style braiding (small and tight) this shop is the next best choice.
