I am a first- year vet student who adopted a dog in Grenada, and had tofly him through Miami to get him home to Toronto, Canada. Since I hadalready booked a ticket for myself to fly through Barbados, my dog Oscarhad to fly cargo from Grenada alone, and I was very worried, not havingdone this type of thing before. When Oscar's flight from Grenada wascancelled and had to be re-scheduled for the following day, I would havebeen at a loss about what to do if it had not been for the caring staffat Aventura pet resort. They assured me the change in the schedule wouldnot be a problem, and when his flight finally arrived, they picked himup from the airport, took him to the resort, fed and pampered him, madesure he got a good night's sleep and put him on his flight the next dayto Toronto. They also kept me informed regarding Oscar's whereaboutsand condition throughout the entire time that he was in Miami, which Ithink is an important touch for all the pet-owners out there that worryabout their furry babies when they are away from them. It also showsthat the staff at Aventura pet resort genuinely care about the welfareof the pets they care for, and the peace of mind of their owners. Oscarwill definitely be staying there the next time he has to fly throughMiami!

As I thought this was a nice place and good recommendations, turned out it wasnt, wasnt enough room, too small of a place for animals in general, the owner of the place is never there during the day only to have pets be dropped off she then walks the pets one, Im very careful where I take my pet and this place is not the place, the pets should be supervised at least the business hours of the resort thats why us as pet owners trust that they are well taken care of again thats only by say, I had to see for my self and also had a freind take her dog there also, the shop also I hate say has big roaches ive seen two and she the owner hit onewith the broom so i wouldnt see it.. no one likes roaches let alone around the animals its unsanitary... There are plenty pet resorts in the area for the same price and more caring and clean facilitys, also much bigger. I dont recommend this place to anyone as i was recommended, Big misake.

They are a cageless facility that is family owned & operated. They spoil your pet, it is so wonderful. They are very friendly and accommodating. My puppy gets so excited every time we pass the place he wants to jump out of the car to go and visit. He loves it there, which makes me happy knowing he is well taken care of. They do grooming as well. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to every pet owner I know.
