When I started looking for a system I looked at a whole bunch of places like best buy and circuit city and I thought I found a good deal until I went to west coast. when I went to west coast and was talking Louie I told him what I was going to buy and he just laughed and told me to come and look at the stuff he could get me for a way better price. he got me way better stuff than I was going to get at another place. I have never had a problem with my system, and it still sounds just as good as it did the day that i got it installed. I am planing on buying a new truck soon and I wont take it any were but west coast for my system.

Went in last week after going to best buy. I wasnt planning on buying anything that day, just browsing around for the best price. I couldnt help myself when they gave me a much lower price than best buy on the same stuff. They were very friendly and gave me a feeling that they were looking for what best suited my car and my budget. They had it done in no time, their work was very clean. It looks as though my double din came with the car and the sub hits very clean with no rattles. I would have to say i love my car one hundered times better! I will definately go back in the future and recommend them to all my friends!

This place stinks! DO NOT GO HERE.

Where do I start? Well I got a full stereo installed there: Sub, all 4 speakers, wiring, amps, touch screen head unit w/ GPS and DVD, etc. I was a little uncomfortabe to begin with because they are like pawn shop diamond salesmen...no manners or professionalism to speak of. They are not helpful at all and speak to you in ambiguous 2 word sentences. You know the type...like every question you ask is stupid. But I gave them my business because they were giving me a "good deal". Turns out it wasnt. They dont have any posted prices, they just say things like, "I will give you those for $80". No regard for MSRP. Its like a glorified pawn shop. So unless you have a smartphone to go online at the store and verify his quotes you are hosed. Anyway so they do the installation and I pay and so on and so forth.

Fast forward 6 months...the GPS starts showing me in the pacific ocean, so I take it to curcuit city (RIP) and they say "who did this work? they didnt secure the GPS unit so it fell behind the dash." I said "west coast autosound." They said "oh man those guys are the worst." I said "yeah but they gave me a deal." They said "how much", I said "2200". They go "OMG, for what?" I said "everything and they installed a bypass unit for the DVD player so that I could play movies while driving." They said "what bypass unit? All you have to do is cut the ground wire!" So they charged me $100 to clip a wire!

Fast forward 1 year...my sub goes out randomly. I take it to West Coast AS and they say "the sub's bad." Of course I didn't believe them so I said "how? Tell me specifically whats wrong", they said "its old, we can sell you a new one for $80". I said "screw you I am going somewhere else." So I take it to best buy and the geek squad guys test it and say "well they were right its blown." I said "how did that happen? i don't bump it loud." They said "well whoever installed it didn't even seal off the space the sub sits in so it was firing into open air and damaging the sub." So these West coast guys just installed the sub into a storage space and didn't fiberglass or foam the area or anything. They just put carpet down over it to conceal the void. On top of that, the Best Buy guy said the sub they sold me a year and a half ago was over 3 years old. So who knows if it was even brand new...?

So in summary, these guys are dishonest, incompetent, and rude. The least they could do is kiss your butt and make you feel like you aren't getting ripped of (even though you are). But they don't even take the time to do that. They just look you in the face and give you the finger. DO NOT GO HERE!

i just got home from picking up my motorhome's installation of an Alpine stereo. I could not be happier with the experience. I feel that i was not oversold, and that i was treated very fairly with the price of both the equipment and the installation. It was a difficult and unusual install, and it was done cleanly. I will definitely return with my other car's sound needs, and will not hesitate to send my friends. They truly seem to care that their customers have a good experience.

This is a good place to go if you just want the job done. It is perfect for trying to get a new system or other custom work you just can't do yourself. Great people there, and they do not forget you. I have been back and they fix things no questions asked.
