If you are a woman looking for a mechanic you can trust - one who will not take advantage of you, talk to you like you are stupid, or change his tune when your husband/boyfriend gets on the phone or shows up with you - - then this is the place for you. I found Evi and Alex after a DISASTEROUS experience with another mechanic shop in Huntington Beach... Evi (the owner) was sympathetic, informative - and incredibly patient. AND - when I did not understand what he was talking about - he even drew a picture for me! LOL =) Hey - whatever it takes... And that is the attitude there... They do "whatever it takes" to get the job done - and done RIGHT. They even took my car to make sure it would pass the smog test after they changed the catalytic converter. The customer service is top-notch. The knowledge is top-notch. The communication is top-notch, and the prices are great!! Seriously - woman or man - - it does not really matter. If you are looking for a good, TRULY honest mechanic ...

A few weeks ago I was shopping around for a cat back exhaust system and some performance parts for my 2004 Corvette and was recommended to Automotive Excellence by a buddy of mine who also has a Vette. They gave me the best price and did a fantastic job. I was really impressed. I'm a car guy and know how shady some of these mechanics can be, but these guys were really friendly and honest. They also were able to install a K&N intake system and performance programmer for a really great price. I'm really happy with their work and will be recommending all my family and friends to them. I don't trust my Corvette with anyone but the guys at Automotive Excellence from now on. Alex and Evi have a real gem of a shop. Whether your a car enthusiast or not, I recommend Automotive Excellence to everyone who needs repairs or wants to improve performance and gas mileage.‎
