Run around when it comes to warranty
I have nicely been put off for 2 weeks now after taking my vehicle in for previous work done after my accident. Although treated with kindness, I felt I was getting the run around, which was inconvenient being that other family members were involved in getting the car and myself to the location and follow-ups that were recommended. One, was that I needed another certified mechanics opinion of the problem with my SUV's loud engine noise, gauges which were off and air condition disfunction. I was recommended to get something in writing and to go to a mechanic or dealer. Went to the dealer, who were focused on how much to charge me for the diagnostic, and who later indicated that autobody expressions told them the problem was not from the previous work to my surprise. I was discouraged, but needed the work done. I ended up taking it to a cerified mechanic. He immediately took care of the noise with minimum charge, recommended that autobody expressions recheck their work regarding the fuel gauge, indicating that something may be loose or missing as the possible reason for the gauge issue. He highlighted the problems on the warranty. I hesitated to take it back to autobody expressions, however I did a week and a half later. I have been in, told that someone will come to my house. No word. I have called, either Chris is in a meeting or will call me back, it hasn't happened. I am very disapointed. Nice people, bad warranty follow through, I just hope I don't run out of gas again, it's happened twice going to class. I'm still home, waiting for the warranty to be fullfilled. They are fully aware of the urgency and messages have been left.
