Will squeeeeeze every last dime...
Had an upper-end rebuild done for a cracked head on a BMW 328i. $4,000+ with cooling system work. The shop owner has me pop the hood as I'm leaving, just to go over everything before taking care of the bill. He notices that a small, plastic trim cap (fits over the nuts on the top of the valve cover) is missing (it had one when it came in!) - he says "...completely rebuild head...it should look it's best.." or something similar. He runs inside and pops on a replacement piece (used, I might add). I figure that for $4,000+, he's just being friendly and comping me the used little plastic piece that they lost in the rebuild. He smiles, says "lets get you on the road," we go inside, I pay and leave. I review the bill at home, and - based on the time stamp of the different tasks - HE CHARGED ME FOR THE PART RIGHT AS I WAS ABOUT TO GO! They lose my original part, just made $4,000+ off me, then have the balls to stick me for another $3 for a used part (a new one is $2 at bavauto.com) that they lost. Talk about shearing the sheep! For $3, these guys lost a long-term client. It was too bad that this guy ruined the experience, as their German-trained engine guy was great.
Price Range: $2,500 - $5,000

Trust Your Mercedes-Benz In These Thorough Hands
I called with an acute and unexpected problem at 10am, and was able to have my car serviced right away; my car was ready at 3pm. The courtesy shuttle driver was prompt, and called me via cell phone upon arrival. Customers can get a free ride back to work/home, and picked up when your car is ready.

I paid $102 for a system scan, and was provided with the hardcopy for my records. I can have a rescan at no additional fee within the next 12 calendar months.
I was able to speak directly with the mechanic that serviced my 1999 CLK430, and we reviewed ALL of my stored error & warning codes. It was a refreshing change of pace to have an easy to understand discussion about the work that was done, as well as my future vehicle maintenance plans. I was not rushed out the door, and felt confident about what to expect on my next service visit.

If you're looking for a new establishment for your Mercedes-Benz maintenance, I recommend trying this shop. It was hard for me to trust someone new, but I'm glad I took the plunge (and should have been at this joint sooner).

Great service by Melanie T. at InsiderPages
I took my husband's car here when it needed service. The lobby/waiting area is very clean. He didn't try to up sell us on anything and just did what was asked of. The service was great and they were very nice to us.
