I usually shop at another garden center in North Raleigh but since it has went downhill I started shopping here. I wish I would have came here long ago. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful and the plants are beautiful. I think this has to be the best place in Raleigh for shrubs!

I am very impressed with the vast selection of trees, shrubs, and perennials that Atlantic Avenue Orchid and Garden has to offer. I went there for a spring sale that they were having and was able to save over 25% on an assortment of trees and shrubs for my garden.
I was fascinated by the pots. They had these great Asian pots..fantastic colors and designs.
Also, the greenhouse is filled with a terrific selection of all sorts of orchids. I started buying orchids recently once I found out how easy they are to take care of. My home is now filled with them!
I thought the staff was top-notch. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. They were very patient with me, helping me to decide what would be best for my garden.
Spring is just around the corner...and it's worth a trip over to Atlantic Avenue Orchid & Garden Center

I am fairly new to the Raleigh area and a friend of mine who has been a long time customer of Atlantic Avenue Orchid and Garden recommended it to me. My husband and I have moved into a home with more land than we had before, but the garden needs work.
There wasn't a lot of help at the garden center but I was eventually able to track someone down in the outdoor nursery area.
There was a lot to select from, but I did have trouble making up my mind. I required help from a staff member. She was knowledgeable but overworked. She was being pulled from many directions and couldn't invest much time with me.
Selection is good but price a little on the high side.

Atlantic Avenue Orchid and Garden center is an awesome nursery. We have purchased many shrubs and bushes from them as well as fertilizer and grass seed. They have been very helpful every time we have been there. The prices are higher than the chain stores, but we have had much better success with the bushes we have purchased here.
