The previous reviewer clearly has mistaken this place with the skate board shop in Chinatown. Anyway, I love this place. Great bar food, great bartenders, great ambiance and great music. While I don't have any tattoos or anything, I thought all the people I chatted were very cool...and I work on the hill.

When I went to Asylum to buy my first skateboard, they were very helpful assisting my personal needs. They helped me find a board and all the accessories I needed to go with it. They customized and personalized it right there. It was fast and easy. And it was at a very good price. I go back all the time for repairs and other skating and snowboarding needs. Definitely would recommend.
