If you're looking for a dentist that treats you like you're in a used car lot, this is the place to go. They show no interest in your health or in you as a patient or a person. All they know how to do is sell you as much as they can as fast as they can. Ever been to a dentist where they don't clean your teeth as part of your visit? This place does just that. I went to Aspen Dental because they were only one of two dentists in Cedar Rapids who took my insurance. I have never had ANY dental problems...not even a cavity. I just wanted a routine cleaning/exam but they make you go there for a "free consultation" first. I had to wait 30 minutes to be seen. Then they took a panoramic xray (which I have only had for braces) and 30 xrays. Almost one per tooth. I then saw the dentist who ran threw an entire list of things I needed including a $450 mouth guard for teeth grinding (which I have never been told) and a filling for a cavity (I am curious to how I have gone 30 yeara without a cavity and now I have one). My grand total came to about $2000. I then met with an office manager who went over a "payment plan" for all of this. These people a salesman not healthcare providers. Practices like this should be banned‎
