I had been to Ashley Therapy three times before my final appointment. I had called a few hours before my appointment to reschedule because of an emergency that came up at work. The office said they "understood" and made the appointment for the following day. There was no mention of a missed appointment fee. I went in to see the doctor and they did not request me to pay before the appointment like they normally do. When I went to pay after the appointment they wanted to charge me an outrageous $70 for a missed appointment. I felt that I was not a valued customer and that the practice is only in it for money.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the people at Ashley Therapy. I am sad that westaus had such a negative experience. Hopefully she and her family are getting the psychiatric help they so obviously need.

I know one of the counselors there and despite what the other lady said, Burden provided me with excellent care. She saw me in Kuwait adn treated me for sexual assult. She was a soilder but very professional and did a great job. I wish my new thepist was like her. I can not speak for the others doctors there but if Burden is working with them then they must be a hell of a practice.

They are horrible! - My pysch and my daughters pysch and her therapist worked out of this office - they had done nothing about my daughters obvious state except up her medicine slightly - my husband INSISTED they admit her into MUSC - which they did and then they fired us as patients - saying we had caused too much disturbance in a PSYCHIATRIC office - their office manager and she knows who he is is the WORST counselor I have ever seen! - they should all have their licenses yanked - my daughter has been through he** since and is now BACK in MUSC
