Be careful...

I had a $4k oil painting that I bought overseas and had taken off the mounting so that I could bring it home on the plane. I brought it here to have it stretched and mounted on simple wooden bars. The stretch & mount seemed fine, but when I got it home to hang it, I noticed that they had stapled the painting to the bars on the sides, which were painted and part of the piece, rather than gluing the sides and stapling the back like they should have. I would have preferred they did it right and charged me $50 more rather than ruining the investment value of a very expensive piece.‎
