looking to go to the art institute‎
Hmmmm i understand that the "college students" are noisy and some of you have to work in the morning but i am sure they pay rent too. There is a line in respect you do not cross -people and sleep- and i agree with the mom even though none of the moms reading this would say that it is "their child" making the noise because "their child" is an angel but all of this lovely information has helped me make the decision that i will be driving back and forth from home instead of living around or on center. Thank you - An Art Institute hopeful p.s it is called stero-typing when you put a whole group of people i.e a whole college into a certain catogory quote "So if you want your kids to be disrespectful little drunks then send them to the art institute of Charleston. If you want them to have real careers, make them go get a decent education" unquote Rose‎

Sounds like someone has an apartment...‎
I am sure you are not saying all Art Institute students behave as the ones in your complex. Have you really checked to make sure all the noise and disruption is coming from only AI students? Maybe you should call your complex security to handle these issues. Does your complex have security? What have the police done? And as for a decent education, maybe you should have taken your own advice and then you would not have had to rent an apartment in a complex that college students can afford. You said it, not me. Signed, Mom of an AI Student.‎

Make sure the students don't live by you!‎
This year, those darling art students moved into my apartment complex. I guess they are using these apartments for dorms. Every night, not just Friday or Saturday, but every night, they are out in front of the building in the common area throwing foot balls into the windows. They scream and yell as a form of communication to each other. They actually chase the geese that land in the yard here near the pond. Party nights are Friday and Saturday nights. They will be up hanging off of balconies at all hours. The music is deafening. Police are called after a certain hour due to that fact a lot of the people who live and pay rent here work during the day. We have to drive around broken beer bottles in the parking lot the next morning on our way to work. I have no idea why the institute doesn't have RA's coming out to check on these kids. I went to college and it seemed every time I turned around an RA checking on us. So if you want your kids to be disrespectful little drunks then ...
