Had the opposite happen - called another company in town and they told me my old unit was beyond repair, then tried to talk me into a $12000.00 unit. Arnold Service Company's representative told me that the old unit was still functional, repaired it quickly and relatively inexpensively. He then told me that a replacement unit would probably be needed in a few years but not the monstrously expensive unit quoted by the other company. I've recommended them to others and they've had positive experiences also.
