Wow, I'm sorry you had such an awful experience, but I have had an amazing one. I find that if you are clear about deadlines, you will get results. My husband and I have both brought several articles of clothing here. A couple suits (pants and jacket to be taken in), a couple pairs of jeans (which I got hemmed keeping the original hem), tons of dress shirts, all to be altered. He did a great job and for a ridiculously low price. I brought in six items and paid $52.
I just don't think its fair for the only review of Armando's to be quite so negative. I really did have a great experience, and we continue to bring other items of clothing to this tailor.

i brought two pairs of pants in to get hemmed. when i picked them up they were not the correct length. he seemed reluctant to fix them but finally gave in after arguing with him. when i came back the second time, the pants were still messed up and he was rude to me. in fact, he made the hems shorter and of all uneven lengths so now i'm not sure if they are even salvagable.
