Great dental office by Coleen B. at InsiderPages
Arlington Dental is a great dental office. The staff and dentists are extremely nice and I've never waited more than a few minutes for my appointment. I've had several procedures done there and everyone has been great.

Too much pressure
This dentist office has a financial receptionist, of sorts, who comes to you while you're still in the chair and pressures you into purchasing all of the procedures they feel you need. They do this regardless of whether or not the procedure is necessary.

I was told that I need a hygienist at $110 per visit to teach me how to floss and take care of my gums. They wouldn't, however, diagnose me with periodontal disease, which would prompt my need for a hygienist. Quite frankly, being told you need a hygienist is insulting--especially when you know darn well you care for your teeth as well as you can. The mouth is a hostile place. Crap happens and I don't think that a little extra mess in my mouth after not seeing a dentist for years out of fear, constitutes needing a hygienist.

I will be canceling my next appointment.

NEVER ON TIME OR EVEN CLOSE by Kristin M. at InsiderPages
I do not like this office in the way that it is run. I had been going here for a couple of years, when recently the office was taken over by new owners. These owners had previously been with a dentists office that i used to go to. I left because of the manner that office procedures were done and it looks like its happening here too. All treatments were given as the highest $ amount(maybe the best items) but no options are given. They don't even say...your insurance covers this..... I was always made to feel that if I went with what the insurance was paying for I was getting bad treatment for my mouth. My inlaws also had gone to this previous office and were being charged for antibiotic rinse when having their teeth cleaned. Antibiotic rinse is not necessary and that is why insurance companies do not cover that. My inlaws who live on a low low income were being charged $45 each time for teeth cleaning(2x's) for upper quadrant and lower quadrant. It is now happening the same at this new office and my dentist and childs dentist no longer work there because of the changes.
My 7 year old daughter never felt pain and had 3 teeth filled but went back this last time and had one that needed to be repaired because the original work had broken and she was in alot of pain and the new dentist wasn't good with kids and was just that, A NEW DENTIST! I will not go there again.

PROS: The technician, Kelly is wonderful with children!
CONS: Never Never on time always at least an hour and half behind.
