Best Shrimp in NC

Extremely friendly service, but the best thing is the shrimp. I have tried the steak and chicken too, best japanese food in winston salem, but shrimp is best in NC.

Great Service by S Q. at InsiderPages

I must say that I didn't realize how great their service was until I no longer lived there. I now live in a town where the Japanese restaurants fail in comparison, and I NEVER go to them! The service is just superb, and yes you have to wait a little....However, you wait almost anywhere you go off of Stratford b/c it is near the mall and the hospitals!

The food is good. I will give it that, but I wouldnt say its so much better than the other hibachi places in town. You have to make a reservation, and then still expect to wait at least 15 minutes. Without a reservation you could be waiting for over an hour.

This is the best Japanese place I have ever been. Their shrimp is the best. They take their time and show you a great time. They also give you plenty of food. You will never leave hungry! Usually I have enough for another meal :)

Whether it's for the food or entertainment, Arigato has the best Japanese in the state. Better go hungry too!! Your meal consists of soup, salad, rice, veggies, shrimp, and whatever meat(s) you choose. The food is cooked on a grill right in front of you. The cooks are also known to provide a little entertainment while they are cooking. Make sure to call and make reservations, cause they do get very busy. The prices are reasonable for the type of restaurant.
