these guys are honest and trustworthy people. my wife introduced me to them when we got married and her family's been going only to them for years now. we even bought a 96 camry with an engine they did a complete overhaul on thinking it would be just a quick-fix-until-it-breaks car and after two years of city driving it's been running more reliably than my younger '01 nissan sentra. every time i bring one of our cars in over the years they've been fair and reliable; there hasn't been anything they didn't know how to fix. i refuse to go to anyone else for service. oh and they really are great with customer service. everyone there is very friendly and non-imposing, contrary to the stereotype of auto-shops being full of testosterone-hyper crooks trying to either intimidate or fast-talk you into crap you don't need. you really should give these guys a shot. customer #14391‎

Shoddy diagnostics. Computer test only, without a compression test to rule out other problems. Technician tried to disconnect the air intake sensor in order to get the truck to die. I reconnected it and drove away, after paying them $90 for the incomplete diagnostic report. (With as little work as was done to diagnose the problem, that comes to about $180 per hour!) I recommend you contact Honest Engine instead...who did FULL diagnostics before charging me ANYTHING!

My brother took his Altima there for a tune up, and they told his car didn't need it for another 20000 miles. So they didn't charge him anything. How many mechanics would have done the unnecessary service and charged him for it?! I always take my car there because I'm certain I'm not getting ripped off.‎
