My husband and I were married yesterday 2/28/09 at the Arch of Reno. We were very pleased with Minister Jack Cobb doing our ceremony. I would recommand him if you were going to have your wedding here at the Arch. There's a very touching story to our ceremony. My husband was dignosed with Head Neck Throat cancer in December. Andy is having Chemo and Radiation treatments. Radiation 5 days a week for two months, his cancer is in stage 4 with a 20% survial. So you see when we said our vows and when it came for me to say in sickness and health, I started to cry. Andy and I have together for almost 6 years. I will stand by my vows and will always be there for him when he is to sick to get out of bed. And I pray that he will recover from this awful cancer that has taken over him. For someone that has never smoked or drank and was in good health and a runner. You see you never know what will happen, never take life for granted. I knew Andy was going to be the love of my life when we met. I thank God every day for senting him to me. Andy is 59 and I'm 55, I pray that we will have a long life ahead of us. Andy's dream was for us to retire on the coast of Mendinco, I'm afraid he's given up on that dream. But I know there is a God and that he can take his cancer away. Minister Cobb said a prayer over the two of us. We felt that he took extra time with us, and we Thank him for doing just that. God Bless You Minister Gobb and when the Anderson's are back in Reno we will stop in and say Hello. Blessings To All
