The Arab American National Museum has wonderful exhibits that educate the community about Arab Americans and help to break common strereotypes. It also is very affordable - sunday admission is free and concerts and movies there are under $10. They also have great events for kids and families, a library, and an excellent gift store if you're looking for Arab cookbooks or other items from Arab culture.

This may be the most affordable museum in the region. I love the diversity-themed Global Thursdays performance series.

The Arab American National Museum is one of a kind. It's informative, creative, unique and teaches the community about Arab American history and culture! I definitely recommend taking a visit if you have never been there.

An exhibit even shows you how to do the "line dance" seen at the Arab American cultural festivals.
Thanks to Target, admission on Sundays are free.
The staff is multicultural and extremely helpful.

Global Thursdays very enjoyable. On many occasions the audience is unable to restrain themselves, abandoning their seats to dance by the small stage or in the aisles.
Expand your musical horizons while listening to such instruments as the oud, qanun, pandiero, koto, erhu, dulcimers, African thumb pianos, congas, steel drums, and the tabla.
Listen to traditional woodwind, percussion, string and keyboard instruments played in many wonderful ways... think flamenco.
