Great customer service
Was surprised to read the other reviews. Keith was out today within the agreed upon time and was very personable and efficient. He gave us good advice. We were very happy with him and the company.

Poor Appliance Repair Service
We own an LG dishwasher. The first year warranty is expired. But we have two years for parts. My husband called LG about 10 days ago. They told him the code on the dishwashers indicates that we need a new motor. LG set the repair up with Appliance Rescue and had them call my husband. They told my husband that they would call me on Wednesday, July 2nd to set up an appointment to repair the dishwasher. I haven't heard from them. I called yesterday evening and got their answering service. The woman who answered said she would relay the information to them and have them call me this morning. It's now 2:00 p.m. They never called. So I called them. Once again I get an answering service who said they have the information from yesterday, but don't know why I haven't been contacted. They will pass the request on again and hopefully someone will call me. After reading these other two reviews, I don't hold out a lot of hope. I plan to call LG this evening and read these reviews to them as well.

Manufacturers should not use local repair people with this type of reputation.

I have had to get a repair on my LG refrigerator as well. It is under warranty. And, the company they used here in Reno a few months ago was not Appliance Rescue. So, I don't know what made them change companies. But it certainly wasn't a change for the better.

No contact on open warranty repair.
I had damage to my refrigerator that was to be repaired under warranty. Keith, the owner, ordered the parts, and Tyson, employee brought them out to install. Tyson made excuses why he didn't want to install the parts, and I said install them, then talk to Keith, about your issue. Finally it came out why Tyson didn't want to install the parts, they had ordered one part wrong, and lied to me about the reason. I was unhappy with his lie but said order the right part and come and reinstall it when you get the right part. He asked to leave the bulky parts with me that were ordered for entire job - they stayed in my house nearly 3 months, and still are here. I called abt 15 times, leaving messages for Keith, the owner to call me, without so much as a return call. Their business card didn't have their address, so I finally searched the internet, and went to the location, which was an apartment, and they didn't know this company. In desperation, I went to RC Willey's, the the store where I originally purchased the refer to complain about the serviceman they'd sent to me. Keith explained to RC Willey the reason he didn't call me was I was upset with his tech (who, by the way lied to me) He never called me to discuss the issue. Very unprofessional behavior - lying then not returning my calls as to status of finalization. Keith was simply going to never deal with finishing this repair that was covered under warranty.

Slow; Owner hostile to customer
We called our home warranty after our oven wouldn't heat. Warranty referred us to Appliance Rescue. Diagnostic appointment set for 10 days later. We requested they bring a new heat element, just in case, to save time (they did not). Were promised by tech that element would be installed about two days after received. six days later, owner said it would be another 8 days before earliest possible installation. I calmly expressed dissatisfaction with delays; owner became extremely rude and hostile and threatened not to show up if I dared to "criticize" "the way [he does] business", he showed zero concern for the inconvenience the delays were causing me. Not so much as an insincere apology or explanation from him.

When they finish it will have been over 3.5 weeks w/o an oven. Don't use them unless you have a spare/toaster oven and can afford the delay.
