Do not use this company. They are not honest people. They charge you for things that you did not approve or want.

These people told me my new refrigerator needed a new compressor, when it didn't. They did not like it when I said I wanted another opinion.
AS it turns out, it just needed to be reset, someone else took care of it, for a nominal fee.

They tried to intimidate me into paying the bill, and even threatened me.

*The Appliance Doctor* charged us $200 for a relay switch, which you can order for about $30 online. Even though they are supposed to last for 5 years, the switch broke 5 months later. When I called to talk to the manager, Micheal, he told me that he thought I should be satisfied with the 5 months I had gotten out of the repair. When I told him I would be reporting the issue here on *Yelp*, he first threatened to sue me. When that didn??????t deter me he began yelling, IF I SEE ANYTHING ON THAT WEBSITE, I??????LL COME AFTER YOU--I HAVE YOUR ADDRESS AND ALL OF YOUR INFORMATION??????

I also found that he already has an F RATING with *THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU* and that there had been four previous complaints, which he has failed to respond to. Additionally, the relay switch he put in was a used part. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

This company charged me $169.65 for a 5 minute service call to install a $25 part. Their service call or diagnostic fee is $59, which they tell you will be applied to the bill, but they don't apply it to the bill, they charge it over and above the cost of the job (labor and parts). In addition, they charged me $74.50 for a part I could have easily purchased myself for $25.

Further, about a year and a half later, the same (obviously cheap) part malfunctioned and they insisted on charging me the same exorbitant amount to repair it with only a 10% ($7) discount on the part as a courtesy.

After I realized I had been over charged (because they did not apply the $59 service fee toward the bill), I spoke to Michael on the phone to clarify what all the charges were for. He quickly became extremely rude, would not fully answer my questions and cut the conversation short by telling me he didn't want my business, obviously to avoid answering my questions about their billing practices.

They actually have a lot of services and price plans for you. This place is actually very helpful and when I needed some appliance advice, they were here to help. It's even better than home depot but they don't have as much stuff. However, you can order stuff from their store and pick it up. It's a really good place to receive appliance service.
