We just bought an imac from here. They have knowledgeable salesman and are very informative. You can get a feel for the machines. After the PC we have been extremely happy with it. We also bought an ipod from here.

This store is gerat for the Apple geek. the workers are friendly and helpful. i love going ehre to see what's new w/ apple and to check out their items.

The Apple Store in Palo Alto is a great place to shop for (not surprisingly) Apple products and other cool electronics.

Steve Jobs himself lives nearby, so the store is probably one of the best Apple stores. Beautiful layout, nice products, and helpful service. You're also free to try out their Macs, which are all connected to the Internet.

PROS: great place to try out Apple products
CONS: tempts you to spend a lot of money

We just purchased a new mac, and the people at this store made it the easiest thing in the world. I was concerned about getting my data from my old computer transferred (mostly my pictures and itunes library). With just an extra $100 fee, I brought in my old computer and one day later I had my new machine with all of my old data on it! They even configured the desktop so that it would look like my old one (which is extremely helpful for my husband - not the most computer savvy person in the world, and yes, I love him anyways!) I was able to print on my old printer, connect to the internet via DSL, and all of my old bookmarks were still available. It was sooooo worth it!
