Apollo Paint & Body - All Talk, Little Action.
One star is too generous. Here's Apollo's M.O. You get in a car accident. You take the car to Apollo to get the body work taken care of. They make you feel all warm and fuzzy and promise to take care of you. As soon as they get the check from the insurance co., they get most of the work done on your car in a reasonable amount of time. You go to pick up your car only to find that it looks as if a blind man inspected the car. Our car was FILTHY, inside and out; there were scratches all over the new door panels and outside pillar covers; and one of the window's tint had several large scratches and adhesive overspray all over it. On top of that, we're still waiting on a part to finish the job.
To make a long story short, we've been back and forth four times in the last two months - twice to have the window re-tinted (the manager was a no-show the first time), and twice to have one last part replaced, which has been mis-ordered both times. The best part - Apollo somehow managed to cash our two party insurance check without every receiving our signature or authorization to do so. Fraud anyone?
The manager, Sal, won't call you when he says he will, has some sort of grade school rivalry with his body shop lead, for which the customer suffers, and will turn every mistake around and somehow put the blame on you. My guess is that he and the owner, Frank were used car salesmen in a past life.
Steer clear unless you want to get screwed!
