Absolutely the worst place to live.
1. The owners refuse to do any repairs unless repeatedly asked, usually weeks or months later after the maintenance issue is raised to them. They often make excuses like, "Nobody told us," or "The repairman lost his clipboard with all the work orders."
2. The apartment manager is absolutely inept. He fails to answer his phone, return calls when messages are left, and is extremely rude and unprofessional when you try to talk to him at his door. (The manager lives in the building, but sadly, never takes care of anything or does any actual repairs himself.)
3. Critical maintenence is often put of as long as they can get away with it. For example, one resident was told, "tough luck" when he asked is his kitchen sink could be fixed sooner than the next weeked, citing that he couldn't wash his dishes because he was told not to use the faucet.
4. The parking lot is rarely plowed. It snowed five inches and it took a week before the management could call a snowplow (even though the two other apartments on the same street (under different management) we plowed within two days. The was also broken glass in one of the parking spots this srpring and it took two months before it was finally removed.
This list could go on. These are some of the more immediate highlights that come to mind. Teh bottom line is: DO NOT CONSIDER THIS PLACE TO LIVE.
