I'm from Spain but I've been working in NC for 3 years, that's where I met my wonderful fiancee. After that time, we decided to get married. By that time, I was on a tourist visa, which means I didn't have much time to look for a gown while I was there, at least not for the one I had on mind. I started my search around NC, of course, but after 2 weeks going every bridal store I found in internet, I didn't find anything close to the gown of my dreams. So a friend of mine and I decided to go to NY... I was not lucky either. They had beautiful gowns but not the one I wanted. So, when I was about to quit and buy it in Spain, I found this store, Anjolique Bridal in Lincolnton. I drove all the way there the next day (it is 5 hours away from where I live) and I can tell it was worth the drive!!!. They had a great and unique gown selection I didn't see anywhere else and one of the things I really loved about this place was the dresses were in great condition!!!. They take good care of the gowns. The staff were really helpful and friendly. They made me feel comfortable and no pressure at any time.
I bought my gown there and I'm sure I'll go back for any other special event I have.

anjolique is amazing. its a very happining place...... and the dresses are in great condition! the staff is so helpful!!!!!!! they really spend time with you and make you look good then just giving you the cold shoulder. i love it there and i will go back for any other special event i have, and tell every one how amazing they are!

When I initially visited the shop to try on bridal gowns, the staff was very welcoming, warm and friendly. They were accommodating and helped me make a selection. They were very helpful to my mom when she came back later to select a mother-of-the-bride dress.

However, during subsequent visits for fittings etc. We were literally ignored in the middle of the shop for extended periods of time while they attended to other customers, even though we had specifically made an appointment for that time. Our order was not filled in correctly, our appointments were rescheduled by the staff at the last minute (causing us to return to the shop multiple times), the staff was consistently unprepared and disorganized for said appointments, and it took us following-up with them multiple times to get our order confirmed just days before my wedding. It was almost as if customer service was only important when trying to convince us to spend money but once the sale was made, we were no longer a concern. This lack of professionalism, focus and personal service made the experience worse than shopping at a chain retailer where customers are nothing but a number and a credit card.

I am all for supporting local businesses but in this case, I wish I had gone somewhere else.

I just had to share my wonderful experience at Anjolique Bridal in Lincolnton. My daughter is getting married out of state and had already chosen her gown and bridesmaids gowns close to her home in Georgia. I still needed a Mother of the Bride dress and was having a terrible time finding what I wanted. I was not going to dress matronly as most of dresses I've seen were not fit for my own mother (bride's grandmother) even though she is almost 70 she is very young at heart and still attracitve. I tried several bridal shops around the Charlotte area but once they found I only needed the MOB dress I was given a cold shoulder.
Not at Anjolique!! The sales staff was great and helped me find different choices that really suited my needs. I wanted to look great, not drab but did not want to look like I was attending prom again or trying to compete with my lovely daughter. Their selection was wonderful and Brittany especially helped me by giving honest opionins of my choices and finally narrowing it down.
My dress needed altering and their alterations department didn't dissapoint.

I also observed Brittany with other customers while I was in the store and her professional, confident, and reassuring attitude in guiding their choices was impressive.

The whole experience was definatley worth the drive and I will certainly recommend Anjolique's to anyone who will listen!!!

Very Pleased MOB!!

We had a great time shopping at Anjolique. It was fun. The sales staff there made us feel really comfortable and the trying of bridal gowns was the best time ever. The selection was great--different styles, price points, etc. but the best part was the experience. We just had so much fun. The sales staff made sure we all stayed upbeat and enjoyed ourselves. The store is really pretty. Hardwood floors, big mirrors. No pressure from the staff. They brought out what we asked for and didn't show us dresses out of our price range. We bought my gown there and selected our bridesmaids the same day and my invitations, too. It was worth the drive from Charlotte. By the way, their gowns are awesome and they have a great silk collection, too that's well under 2K
