Life Saver
Dr. Marshall has been extremely helpful in helping me cope with my many health issues over the last ten years. She is both Western and Eastern trained. How many physicians from either discipline can say that? With a background as a Dr. of Pharmacy, she knows Western meds. For me, she has been excellent in eliminating alergies, back and neck aches, tooth aches, treating lymphedema issues and various other weaknesses and pains. She helped me when Western medicine could not. For the last nine years, she has greatly helped to keep me healthy through stage 4 cancer while undergoing Western treatments in chemo, radiation, radical surgeries, and all their many nasty side effects. Her treratments have helped me to stay peacefully strong mentally, physically, and emotionally. I have always been able to eat while doing my chemos. I have been able to greatly reduce Western supplements against nausea that have their own ugly side effects. Scars and related surgery scar tissue has been reduced and smoothed out from her treatments. Radiation burns were cared for more effectively than what Western medicine could offer me. She uses many techniques in addition to needles such as tiny magnets in the ears, Qi Gong, and is always seeking to learn and offer helpful new tools to benefit her patients. I always feel she has my best interest at heart because she works so hard to study and learn the best ideas in treating her patients. She cares so much to be the best for her patients. She has greatly reduced and eliminated unnecessary suffering for me so quickly and easily. Her Eastern work blends with Western medicine so powerfully. Do not hesitate to call her.

Skilled acupuncturist strongly recommended!
Anita Marshall is just the kind of healthcare practitioner I was seeking. She?s professional, yet down to earth, knowledgeable and a good communicator. Although I came to see her for one problem, I soon realized that I could bring pretty much any set of symptoms to her and that she?d adjust her treatment accordingly. I?ve seen her for periodic allergic symptoms, colds and flu, bone density issues, post-menopausal symptoms ? in short, whatever?s going on that I?m concerned about. She sees me as a whole person rather than a set of symptoms. The sessions are extremely relaxing, too. I recommend Anita to anyone who?s willing to considering acupuncture.

Dr. Anital Marshall is an excellent acupuncturist
I am a health care provider, was referred to Dr. Marshall by my primary care physician because I had developed a bizarre array of symptoms that my doctor could not treat.

Dr. Marshall explained my condition to me, treated me with acupuncture, herbs and massage and taught me how to really take care of my psyche, spririt and body.

She was understanding, compassionate, kind, non-judgemental and very wise. Dr. Marshall really cares about the well being of her patients. She spent a lot of time with me: reassuring me that I would get better and listening to my concerns.

Thanks to Dr. Marshall and traditional chinese medicine, I now feel better than I have in decades. I am so convinced of TCM's efficacy in treating a variety of medical and psychological conditions, that, when appropriate, I refer some of my patients to Dr. Marshall for acupuncture to help in restoring their health.

I have complete trust in Dr. Marshall and know first hand and by my patients' reports that she provides exceptional care.

Best acupuncture for allergies and asthma
I first saw Dr Marshall when I was in poor health with chronic asthma and resulting sleep deprivation and back and shoulder pain. I used over-the-counter asthma medicine several times a day causing high blood-pressure and further sleeplessness. I was depressed.
Dr Marshall has restored my good health after many years of feeling like my body was closing down. Through acupuncture and powdered herbs, my asthma is under control--I no longer take the Primatine at all. I sleep well, my body pains are rare and I am now in overall good health. Dr Marshall is especially perceptive about what your needs are and addresses them gently and candidly. She is truly a healer in the fullest sense of the word.

Allergy Relief and overall Wellness!
Dr. Marshall has helped me in so many ways! I used to live on antihistamines 24/7, now I only take them once or twice a month for flare-ups, have traveled to the pollen-soaked countryside in spring and have become a cat-owner! My energy is better, and I don't think I've had a serious cold at all since I've been seeing her this past year and a half! She uses sterile, individually sealed, disposable needles that I hardly feel. She also uses powdered herbs that are very easy to take. I take great confidence in that she was a practicing doctor of Pharmacy for 20 years before finding her true love in acupuncture. She treats other patients for menopause, pain, chemotherapy support, infertility, and everyone loves her! Not surprisingly, she was voted the 2004 Outstanding Professional Service Award by the Alameda Chamber of commerce last December.
