I read the reviews online and was motivated to visit Dr. Hernandez.
Dr. Hernandez made a significant mis-diagnosis and almost immediately gave up on my pet. He wanted me to have my cat put down. Also, when he treated and worked with my pet (and in seeing him with others), he didn't seem to really care about animals.
His price point is very low and it's reflected in the state of his clinic. (Next to the 7-Eleven, there's a foil-like material on the windows of the clinic (probably to reduce heat). Inside, the furniture and equipment are markedly dated.)
I took my cat to Dr. Hernandez, who determined that my cat had a fatal disease. He kept insisting that I put my cat down considering the options were severe. He liked to use fancy clinical terms (not set in normal speech) and was completely insensitive to my cat. (He may not like cats, I am not sure.)
Uneasy about his medical assessment, I decided to get a second opinion as I wanted to make sure before I had my cat put down. I took the lab results and my cat to another vet who disagreed with Dr. Hernandez' diagnosis. She put my cat on a treatment plan and now my cat is completely recovered and is healthier and more playful than I have ever seen him. (Whereas Dr. Hernandez said my cat would likely be dead by this time).
If you love your pets--be it cat or dog or any other--love them enough to NOT take them to this place. Find a clinic where the vet cares and knows what he/she is talking about.
