I enjoyed working with the staff, and can tell you first-hand that they all care very much about your pets, and about trying to give you the BEST options for your pet's well-being, while also trying to keep the medical costs down. You must keep in mind that a veterinarian is, in fact, performing medical services for your pet. Much like your pediatrician is performing medical services for your child, or your general practitioner is performing medical services for you, etc. I miss AMC very much, and would still be there, helping customers & loving my co-workers, if I had not moved cross-country. The staff (when I left in June 2009) were all very hard working, all very fun-loving, and extremely caring individuals. DON'T GO HERE. We got the complete runaround when we tried to get our dog's Deramax prescription so we could buy online and save over 1/2; AMC would not give us the script so we would buy from them (at a much higher price) until we went in person and demanded the script. Hobbes developed laryngeal paralysis (in his throat) when I took him to AMC they said he had an enlarged heart and was old. What they did right was refer us to Mission MedVet (FABULOUS PLACE) who performed surgery and he lived another 3 years. We made the mistake of staying at AMC during those years, but if anything serious happened, we took him to the Mission Medvet. We had insurance on my precious Hobbes who recently passed away at 16. I called and told Animal Med Center to cancel my monthly charge. I was told they could not find my records and I would have to call back on Monday. Dr Williams has gone above and beyond any other vet I have ever used. My animals are comfortable during treatment at AMC and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Very good care.‎
