AEC is a wonderful service, we are lucky...‎
Thank you AEC, Dr Pratt and Dr Bell, for helping us with our beloved Cody in his time of great need in March 2010. The front desk, the doctors, the staff and technicians were professional, caring and have excellent emergency skills. They are there for our pets and they are experienced and specialists in dealing with emergencies. Even though in emergency situations the outcome is not always what we hope for, we are still very lucky to have this service. You have our deepest gratitude.‎

Great experience if you have an ailing pet!
Both the staff and doctor were extremely sensitive and caring towards me and my pet. I would go there again any time!

They saved his life‎
10 pm on a Friday night my fluffy Moki got the bloat. He is 12 years old. He had a 50% chance of living. Not only did they save his life, but they took my worried calls in the middle of the night, for a week, drove my dog to the daytime vet (I live in Truckee and it was storming all week) and picked him up most days for the nightly vigil and care of Moki until he got better. Another night, about four months later, they helped heal my 18 year old cat. Both are well. They were sensitive, caring and excellent at their profession!‎

Excellent Care‎
I brought my Labrador to the AEC after he got very very sick. They were there throughout the whole ordeal, calling me with updates and checking on him every time I called. When I checked him out on Easter Sunday to bring him to his regular veterinarian, I got turned away by a veterinarian at Klaich Animal Hospital so I had to bring him back (see Klaich review), they took him right back in and cared for the poor guy. They called me every two hours for updates, up until they discovered what was wrong. They were understanding when I had to put him to sleep and gave me all the time I needed with him. The only complaint I have is that they're very expensive, and after just letting my very best friend put to sleep they had the nerve to ask if I wanted to let them study his remains and open him up. It touched a very very sensitive nerve when they did that but... Three days later my dachshund had given birth prematurely and we had to bring her back, they were very professional and got her ...

Rude staff, very nice doctors
To whom it may concern: I am revising my review of your facility, upon receipt of your letter, even though my feelings have not changed. Thank you for your correspondence and for addressing this issue.
