Knows medicine not customer service
I have to agree with the "Just Okay" review by Contributor. She seems like a very competent doctor and all her treatments have been effective. However her bedside manner is lacking. I feel rushed and talked at instead of involved in the decision making process on my animal's health. I also have often gotten the feeling that they try to up-sell thier clients. They give you a laundry list of what your pet "needs" without much consultation to the owner whatsoever. It gives you the feeling of being blind-sided and ripped-off. Even though the items offered are beneficial, they way they're pushed on the client does not intill ease or trust at all. I feel that she could involve you more in the whole process, not rush and be more intuative to what will make her clients relax and trust her.

As for her staff. Frances seems to genuinely care about the customer. Everyone else, however aren't exactly warm. I think they forget that people care about their animals and that a little bit of friendliness will put them at ease. The major complaint I've had is one of the Tech's took my dog's temperature with a regular human digital thermometer without even putting a cover over it. She simply sprayed it with somehting then wiped it down. Are they trying to spread microorganisms? My first visit, they used one with a cover that seemed to be actually made for dogs, not humans. Granted I'm not a vet, but that seemed like the more correct way to do it.

Their facilities are decent, as far as I can tell. The lobby is well-kept, however I feel that they could keep their waiting rooms cleaner. The tables was covered in dog hair (don't they wipe it down between visits?) and there are cobwebs in the corners. If they don't keep this area clean, then what about their other facilities? It doens't make them look good.

In conculsion, while I don't feel that they'd do anything to harm my pet, I also don't feel like they particularly care about my pet. I think they've givien my dog proper treatment (and that's most important) but if I ever find another competant vet whole actually involves thier clients, then I'll switch in a heartbeat.

Just Okay by s b. at InsiderPages
The previous owner, Dr. Boodman, was wonderful but he sold the business to Dr. Hill. Dr. Hill and staff did take good care of my pet, which was most important, of course. However, the fees were much higher than expected. For example, she charges around $400 to clean a healthy adult cat's teeth. Additionally, Dr. Hill does not appear to engage clients in decisions regarding their pet's health, and could work on her bedside manners. Based on care alone, I would have given her a higher rating, but the whole experience was just okay.

Stay away....stay far, far away! by denise n. at InsiderPages
This used to be the best vet in or out of town when Dr. Boodman was there, but he sold the business and it is now the worst!!!
I did not know there were new owners and they put my very old dog under anesthesia ...AND THEN CALLED ME....to tell me the previously quoted $300 operation would be over $1000. They never checked the problem before they put her under.

I decided to give them one more chance and with an appt. took my cat with a cut on her ear in for treatment. The nurse said the Dr would not see the cat until the mites were cleaned out. I told her there were no mites...then another nurse said the ear had to be cleaned before the Dr.would see or treat the cat. They took the cat in the back. I have never had a Dr. not be the first to see the problem. The two nurses left to find out how much the procedures would cost BEFORE the doctor came in. After one hour of this I demanded my cat back and left. All of this time my dog was in the hot car waiting for vaccinations, and they knew that! I left and will never go near that place again...I hope you won't either.

You gotta try this place!
I was referred to Dr. Hill by my neighbor and I had a great experience. Dr. Hill spent a long time with me explaining what was wrong with my pet (she has allergies) and how we can try to control them. She also talked a lot about nutrition and even showed me how to brush my pets teeth. She was extremely caring and really made me feel comfortable and that I was in good hands!! If you want a very thorough exam and a complete understandable explanation of what's wrong with your pet this is the place to go! The staff also really seemed to know what they were talking about and to genuinely care and the hospital is really clean and welcoming.

Great Vet!!!
We took our little 3 month old puppy to Dr. Hill today. She was great and so informative and took the time to speak to us about our new family member. We are so happy we found this vet. All the tech people were wonderful and even the clients were nice. Thank you, Animal Care Center, HB.
***I am actually a client. This was my experience. To the reviewer above. Do not call me fake or tacky you horrible person.
