Simply the Best Veterinarian Practice around
Clean. Staff is professional. Doctors are very competent. They don't try to waste people's money, or time sitting around. Easy to get in and out of. The building is beautiful, and they even offer beverages and doggie treats. It smells nice, and did I mention it is clean? Way more pleasant experience than taking the kids to the pediatrician.

Drs. Spindel and Harris are GREAT! by stacey h. at InsiderPages
We've taken our two dogs to see Dr. Spindel and Dr. Harris for seven years now, and could not be happier. Even though our dogs are difficult to deal with and have significant health issues, we've always felt like the people at Animal Ark really care about our pets' well-being. They care lovingly for the dogs, explain things clearly to us, and are very conscientious about weighing cost concerns with providing the best for our dogs.

Dr. Spindel once even made a house call to check on our 100+ lb. Great Dane when I was home alone and couldn't lift him into the car to get him to the office.

Get what you pay for???
Animal Ark used to be pretty awesome when they were in their old location and had only 1 Vet, Dr. Spindel. Since their move and new building was built it seems the cost for services has risen quite a bit and they've added 2 more vets so it's difficult to get consistent answers and treatments for your pets. I went to them for 8 years and finally decided to leave after one of my dogs was seen by all 3 vets multiple times and we got different answers on each visit. On those visits each vet told me I should have been doing this or that when the previous vet said nothing about it... all they had to do was read the dang records on my pet. On top of that, it surprises me that I've been there for 8 years and had multiple visits yet NO ONE that works there, including the vets, has a remote clue who my pets or I am when I walk in the door. It's pretty obvious they're starting to worry more about making money than being good at what they do, which is unfortunate. Heck, I went to the Arcadia Vet and they're not that great or sophisticated but at least they'd give your pet a quick follow up check in a timely manner and for free... Animal Ark charges you $40+ just to walk in the front door, which is ridiculous.

If you have money to waste and are more impressed by a nice building than servcies, then Animal Ark would work for you. However I'm more concerned with competative pricing and a vet who's consistent and knows who I am after 8 years.

Dr. Spindell by Holly F. at InsiderPages
My husband and I have 12 ferrets and, needless to say, we rescue. We deal with alot of medical issues and have no problem driving the two hours it takes to get to Dr. Spindell's office for any surgeries or major treatments. He and his staff are the best around anywhere with ferrets and he's always straight forward but compassionate with his findings and diagnosis. All but two of my visits to Dr. Spindell have ended on a very sad note with the ferret being terminal. Dr. Spindell was so compassionate when delivering the news of my fuzzie and I felt that he truely cared and felt for me. I'm so glad to know the the Animal Ark and Dr. Spindell and staff are out there for us.
