Office not the easiest to deal with . . .

and Dr. A. is highly recommended by friends (one of whom is himself a retired dentist), but so far I haven't found him particularly friendly. On my first visit, he breezed in, looked in my mouth, never introduced himself or spoke directly to me one time, and left. I'm staying with the practice because of Eileen, the excellent hygienist who has cleaned my teeth twice. Maybe a dentist is like a surgeon -- who cares about chair-side manner if they do a good job, don't overcharge and cause as little pain as possible!‎
