No nonsense when I went to get my 6 month old cat neutered. Dr. Barns went out of his way to recommend that I wait to neuter my cat until he was old enough to minimize the risk of urinary tract infections as a side-effect. The staff did not tack on garbage fees (like exam charge, boarding fees for the day, etc.) or try to sell me on anything I didn't need (unlike my experience at other vets). The staff was clear about the procedure and the charges, making sure to advise me about some options in order to save costs, and they were otherwise knowledgeable and respectful.
