I've never written a review but seriously must...
We arrived to meet another couple for dinner, I called ahead asked for a back room because we brought our 5 month old- We arrive to find they have no note of our reservation, no big deal though, plenty of tables. We ask for a high chair. The wait staff brings a broken one with no strap, I ask for another so our baby doesn't fall to the floor. Our waitress (blonde, little) says "we only have ONE highchair here" I laugh, "guess most people don't bring a baby here huh?" she laughs says "Yeah, no, sorry" I put baby in the car seat, no problem. 30 minutes later they seat another family next to us. The family asks for a high chair, the bus boy brings one over with an intact strap. Ours by the way is still sitting at our table unused. Huh? I ask her should I order appetizer A or B (she comments while smacking her gum the whole time) finally decide on raviolis after asking what's better, etc...she brings both appetizers. Ok maybe my fault??? We let it go even though it is a $40 appetizer! Then, the waitress brings champagne to our table but SPILLS 3 of the 4 full glasses on myself and the wife of the client we are with. Waitress is flustered and tries to clean floor, does not bring napkins or anything to help guests. My dress and the lady next to me have been doused. Next we order dessert sampler (fabulous by the way). and are unable to finish. I ask her to box it up. No problem. She goes in back, returns, no box. I ask for it. No problem. She again returns with a few pieces that are obviously not the ones we had left. I point this out and she returns with 1 more box also not the same but I let it go. We give waitress a gift certificate to take $75 off the $400 bill (with absolutely nothing comped in spite of champagne incident) . She returns with bill, no credit of certificate. We mention it. She says you must have given it to another blonde waitress there are a lot that work here. HUH??? No, we say, it was you. She goes searching, comes back with bill again no credit. Point it out again so she hand writes discount in. Seriously laughable at that point. We walk our client friends and my husband returns to speak to a manager who was very nice (and by the way had no clue about the champagne incident) and did comp a few things but we will never return. There are too many good restaurants out there to choose from to put up with this kind of service.
