Abandon ship

I visited Anacapa twice. The first time, I was taken aback to find that, in the main sales room where the merchandise was, a group of four, including staff, was seated eating a messy, smelly pizza. Frankly, I've never seen this in a merchandise store before. During both my visits, the staff was not helpful, and when I had written the owner about a problem, and called as a follow-up, my note and call were not returned. Not a professionally-run outfit -- at least this was my experience.

Pros: Many Scuba Lesson offerings

Cons: Apathetic staff, unprofessional and unresponsive

Scuba Gear by Fred T. at InsiderPages

I recently visited Anacpa Dive Center to learn how to scuba dive. The training was fairly inexpensive and the people were very nice and helpful. I just wish i would have know how expensive the equipment is before i got hooked on it. Overall it was a great experence and would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn how to dive.
