Amphora Fine Art Restoration Studio surprisingly restores a variety of art mediums. It is great to see a team of talented people working together. I loved seeing the studio with many paintings, sculptures and ceramics in restoration progress. The staff of Amphora Studio was professional and informative, and Dinka Hadari answered any questions or concerns that I had regarding a restoration of my small 18th c. oil painting of hunting dogs.
This painting was left to me by my late grandmother, which was passed along for generation. being somewhat of an heirloom, I wanted to make sure that I get to give it to my grandchildren some day.
to say the least, this painting was in a less than desirable condition. after several moves, storage, and overall aging, there were cracks, yellowing and spotting.

Amphoras team did a great job. Dinka explained the process very clearly to me. They removed the varnish, reattached to a new canvas that was more sturdy and archival, and fixed any and all of the visible damages it collected over years, whats more, they were even able to restore the frame for me.
The price was very reasonable and result was perfect. One stop shop to boot.
Will use Amphora again with no doubt.

If you have art made of porcelain, alabaster, marble, terra cotta, colored glass etc., that needs restoration, you must see "Dinka". She is an artist whose work combines sheer genius with intense passion. Recently, she restored my italian alabaster lady reclining on a bronze bed with elephant posts. Sunlight now flows throw her body as it most surely did 100 years ago. If you love your art and it needs restoration, just go to Dinka's studio.
