So yes, I do travel almost to the Mexican border to get a my pedicure fix and occasional manicure. But despite the drive, it's the best price for what you get. Plus the place is clean (a plus in this neat-freak's book), the employees are friendly (despite a slight language barrier with some) and my newly painted nails look amazing even weeks after.

Ameri Nail & Spa is nestled in The Shops at Las Americas Mall around the corner from J.Crew. A deluxe spa pedicure is $35 and includes a sea salt massage, foot mask and a paraffin treatment followed up with your nails painted with your color of choice. A basic pedicure combined with a manicure is $30. In my opinion, the paraffin dip is a necessity for any woman -- it leaves your feet feeling baby soft. (That service ala carte is $5.)

Other services include waxing, facials, body massage and eye lash extensions. I've never had any other services done here except for my nails. Everyone I've brought here who initially scoffed at coming to the border just to have a pedicure are now fans.

The amount saved on lets you splurge on other shops at the outlet.

I came here to do my nails on black Friday! I had a spa pedicure and I had one of the most best massages of my life! It was amazing and I felt as if I was in Heaven! I also got a pink and white full set with design and gel. The guy did such an amazing job with the design! I was extremely shocked! I am usually very hesitant to go to a male, but he definitely did a wonderful job! I will definitely go here again!
