Unprofessional, worst vendor that I had to...‎

I rarely provide reviews but had to this time because this was the most unprofessional, bad business I've had to deal with in my career. I usually go to Classic Party Rental to rent for my event needs. However, I thought I'd give a small local business a try and rent out a pair of giant scissors for a ribbon cutting ceremony. Assuming the rental was in good condition and having general good faith in businesses, I learned 20 mins before our event, the scissors were broken and couldn't even cut. I brought it back and made a complaint. Not only did they deny providing a broken equipment, they even charged me for the entire amount of the scissors. As it shows in most of the reviews, I wasn't the only one that gave this business a bad review. Fellow event planner professionals or just anyone who wants your event to go well, DO NOT use American Rental!‎
