I had this insurance company since I was 16, kept them through college and for 3 years while living in Illinois. Despite being hours away, I knew I could call them anytime with questions, and they always would handle claims promptly and efficiently. Overall, I was with the Schneider agency for probably 8 years until I moved across the country and they were not licensed for the state where I lived. I haven't had my policy with them for going on 2 years now, but today I was in an accident and my insurance company (geico) was of little help with questions, so I called Barry at AmFam. He took time to talk to me about my claim and the best way to deal with it...despite the fact that I'm no longer their customer. Top notch customer service - wish I could still be with them!‎
