Horrible horrible business practices. Lie to get you in at a lower price then automatically start adding charges. Take over a month to get your car repaired. If you have not given them your 800.00 deposit back - get out while you can. Try your hardest to get it back if you have already paid it and run for higher ground as fast as your tow truck can take you. Once the work is finally done - your AC most likely will not work and you'll be lucky if your engine works properly.
Pros: absolutely none whatsoever
Cons: ray is very unintelligent person. he has no idea how to run a business or me in
a managerial positions. This company only exsists to scam people.
RIPPED OFF at American Engine Installers in Phoenix, Arizona!!! AEI replaced my engine with another rebuild. The cost was more than originally quoted. My car was broken into while in their custody. There was window glass in the seat, my XM radio was gone, it obviously had been in a front end accident and poorly repaired, new headlights don’t fit the vehicle correctly, crooked grill…
The manager was horrible! No explaination, no apology. He acted as if he were the victim and started throwing insults and accusations at me. Totally denied any knowledge of break-in or accident, refused cooperation. I had unfortunately already paid, of which he repeatedly reminded me.
Now one and half years later, I have oil sludge in my radiator.
Their limited warranty is VERY LIMITED. Impossible loop holes designed to get them out of any responsibility.
I have never seen such a discusting display of human greed and theivery.
