Liars.
I have never met a less honest merchant outside of India.
I called American Best Locksmith last night. On the phone, I was told a locksmith would come in 15-20 minutes, and that for the type of lock I described, it would cost $50.
After 40 minutes, I called the locksmith, and he said he was on his way, and that he would be there in 5 minutes. He showed up 35 minutes later (1 hour later than the call center employee told me I could expect help).
He then told me that fixing the lock would cost $170! He gave a bullshit explanation that this was a particularly complicated type of lock. This is not true - it was the most basic type of tumbler lock.
1 hour later than I was told, $120 more than I was told. Unbelievable.
