My kids have been going to Olive Tree for 3 years, and I love this daycare no matter whats going on at the daycare my kids alway get good treatment. Had a few problem but they were alway corrected at the right time so i never have too worry about anything. Through the good and the bad my kids have been there. I think the staff they have there now is really good. I have 4 kids that attend this daycare
3 yrs old 4 yrs old and two after schooler 8 yrs old and 10 yrs old. Olive Tree is the best daycare in that area that I have seen.

Well, when i was going 2 put my kids in this facility i read the review below & i tried 2 give them the benefit of the doubt! i was wrong. Please parents- do not make my mistake. my daughter cries so they make my 4 yr old watch over her & actually put mny daughter w/ my 4 yr old & my daughter is 2... what are the kids learning, how to babysite??These people have 1 lady watching 20-30 kids in the morning. The lady is so nice, so sincere but this is illegal & what can i do? i have 2 go 2 work? Ok, so the 1st day- They 4got my son @ the school & the school called me- not the daycare-- the school. I tried to be understanding & forgive it, watch out for the next time but just let it slide. Mind you- when i called she yelled at me-- THEY ARE ON THEIR WAY! That was also overlooked & not addressed.
ok, so we got behind on the payment for the week-- my kids only went Tuesdays & thursdays & so Last thursday before Hurricane IKE came my boyfriend went 2 pick my son up since i was preparing & he came back w/ no kids!!! he said that the owner would not give my son back until we paid what was due in full. ARE YOU SERIOUS? people actually hold kids hostage. so, i tell him i will get my kids but it will not be pleasant. he goes instead & pays a 3rd of the bill & she lets them go. EVIL? AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!
so, now they missed a week due to the hurricane but when i took them back that one lady watching the 25-30 kids was still doing that... so, i leave them there w/ a note b/c it is weds & i dont want any confusion w/ the school or the daycare. The daycare takes him to school and 1 hour after school is out in the afternoon the SCHOOL calls me & says that the daycare NEVER picked him up. i call them w/ anxiety & am assurred that they are on their way. the school & the daycare are about 1 light away from each other so when the school called back 45-50 mins later i was in complete shock. i called the daycare back & expressed my anger & she said she would be on her way NOW... I am very unhappy w/ the daycare. when i went into the daycare 2 get my son the OWNER actually had the nerve to blame the school- i do not blame the school b/c the daycare should have not left the school w/out my son-- even if the school said he was not there, i should have recieved an immediate call from the daycare. She also tried to blame my son- that maybe he was running wild through the school & they overlooked him!! The school has a system & every time i have gone 2 get him, it has been well organized & so i know the daycare owner is full of her own lies~ well, i am very much offended & left in distress b/c who will watch my kids in such short notice?? therefore i am not paying my debt to OLIVE TREE ACADAMEY & the owner had the nerve to ask me for it.. after 2 times of leaving my child @ the school & also trying 2 keep him hostage-- Olive Tree should have to pay me.

Rachel & Staff: I would like to think this would be a good learning school for children of all ages. But the staff doesn't take caring for your babies serious enough. Maybe this is the best they can do, Maybe this is how they care for there own. Which is unacceptable, not clean, not sanitized friendly at first. Once you are in staff get anger when you ask about your child. This is a job that need people that care and love babies and children. Children need lots of love and not feel like when there parents drop them off at daycare, they are going to prison camp. It's too bad I have to move my babies, good luck I hope you do better with the ones you have now, and the ones to come!
