Love this hat store- Best selection of hats for men and women in San francisco that I know of. Been a fan of this store for ten years. They offer every kind of hat you could want, everytime I go in the shelves are stocked with new hats . Just bought a hand crocheted baby hat with cat ears for a friend, she loves it, the owner makes them herself , it is probably the fifth baby hat I have bought. Don't even ask how many my boyfriend and I have bought for ourselves!

Ads Hats is the coolest store ever, if you're into hats that is. This shop carries a lot of different brands from well know to local, and have a lot of really creative and stylish types for both girls and guys. There is a large price range too, from cheaper (about $20) to expensive (over $200).

At ADS, things are a little different. The owner and his sister run the shop. His sister makes the hats. Nice young Mission people sell them. They carry retro and new styles, newsboy caps, 1920s cloches, and spectacular imported hats from Russia. If you were interested in graduating from the baseball cap to something a little more grand, this is the place to go. Nordstroms and a few other stores around the cities carry hats, but often less of them and less interesting ones.
